The purpose of this blog is to provide a review of current research in the field of intellectual disability, and to then examine how any new findings and knowledge can be usefully applied in the field.

One of the biggest problems with research, in any area, is how to translate the results into actual productive outcomes. Research for research's sake alone obviously does no-one any good. The goal of this blog is to review the literature of across all aspects of intellectual disability, and to consider what that means for parents, disability professionals and other stakeholders.
